After the great success of Free / Virtuoso, the album "Encore" was released in 2008. He has proven often enough that it cannot be bent. Once the typical child prodigy, he made the leap and is now successful with his own music, determined about his life himself. And that is exactly what his album "Encore" reflects - his very personal taste in music. The tracklist includes rock classics, great classical melodies, world-famous film scores and some of the 28-year-old's own compositions. David Garrett creates the impossible: he completely reinterprets songs like Queens “Who wants to live forever”, the title track of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and Johann Sebastian Bach's “Air” and manages these different titles in a coherent and fascinating concept bring without looking cheesy.
